Birthday Tradition
The Birthday Plate . . . 
Before Cade's 1st Birthday, I made him this birthday plate. Now, every year he eats a piece of his birthday cake on this plate!
Birthday Party
Cade had his birthday party at Off The Wall Sports. It was a rock climbing party. This is not the place that he usually climbs, so the new walls intimidated him a little. At our "usual" spot, Climb Time, he zips up and down the lines with no problem. All in all, it was a really fun day and he had a great time with his friends.Cade and his cousin, Dylan, just relaxing at the party!

Piano Practice
Two things Cade loves. . . piano and his brother. . . but they don't mix! Quinn can't keep his hands off while Cade is practicing. I think it's best just to keep him out of the room!

Splash Park
It's only June 4th and already it's HOT! We met the Dettmans at the Westfield Splash park to cool off. The boys had a great time. Quinn even dipped his feet into one of the sprinklers. He loved it! (In the picture. . . L to R . . . Cade, Hogan and Grant in their "house".) Tuesday, June 3, 2008
School's Out For Summer!
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!! Cade got off the bus wearing a crown. . . apparently they celebrated summer birthdays on the last day of school. He was very proud of that thing! We surprised the kids on our street as they were getting off the bus on the last day of school. We had an Ice Cream Sundae Bar set up in our garage. They were excited! Unfortunately, we had been having terrible weather. Rain, rain and more rain. The kids ate their ice cream and then played, briefly, in one of the many rain showers of the day!

Graduation
Cade graduated from Kindergarten today. . . I can't believe it! First grade will be here before we know it. Below are pictures of us with him, and his teacher (who he adores), Mrs. Bailey. We can't say enough good things about her! She made his first year of school truly wonderful for him.Unfortunately the lighting during the actual ceremony was poor and didn't lend itself to good pictures.

Indianapolis Indians
We went to an Indianapolis Indians game with Grandma and Grandpa M. It was great fun. Cade ate about 1/2 a bucket of French Fries (his first love) and then Quinn had fun throwing them out and playing with the bucket (as you can see).
