"Ausage"

Yesterday I was cooking Quinn breakfast and asked if he wanted some sausage. He just kept saying "ausage, ausage, ausage". It was so cute! So, I tried to get him to say it once Michael got home. I think I captured the essence of it on video, but he did have to stop and give Murphy a kiss in between "ausages"!

California Trip

We had a wonderful time in San Diego and Palm Desert, California. We really, really missed the boys, but we enjoyed our time together and all the sight-seeing and relaxation.

This is a view of downtown San Diego from the Harbor.

The architecture of all the buildings in Balboa Park was amazing.

Sunset on the Pacific.

Our day at the San Diego Zoo was so much fun.

After our time in San Diego, we drove to Desert Palm to stay at the JW Marriot Resort (with a quick stop for some wine tasting on the way!). It was beautiful. We indulged in spa treatments and laid by the pool! The combination of mountains and palm trees was perfect! The weather was beautiful. My flip-flopped toes were not happy when we flew back and were waiting for our ride in 20 degree weather! If you want to see more pictures, you can visit our online album.

Who knew a towel could be so fun?!

Quinn found a small towel that I sometimes wrap my hair in after a shower, and thought it was the greatest thing. He kept putting it on his head and totally cracking himself up!

Who Loves Murphy???

Quinn LOVES Murphy! The poor dog hasn't been able to rest since he's been in our home. Cade of course loves him too, but understands that the poor boy needs his space! Quinn however knows no boundaries and tries to feed him, love him and climb on him any chance he gets! He wakes up asking for "Goggie".

Meet Murphy. . . The Newest Member of the Family!

Introducing. . . MURPHY! We adopted Murphy today. He is a little over 1 year old and on Friday evening he was turned in by his owner to The Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership. She was moving, and could not take him with her. He is a mixed breed. We aren't even sure what he is a mixture of, but he sure did steal our hearts! After our home visit and approval, Murphy came to live with us today! He's a great sport. The boys LOVE him, and Quinn can't stop saying "Doggie"! He even tried to share his sippy cup with him!
