It Seems There Is A Story Here. . .

When I took these pictures, I was just playing with my camera, but looking at them now, it seems like there is a story behind them. Quinn is always talking to Murphy in his own language. . . perhaps he didn't like his response???

Monkey Joes

Our second visit to Monkey Joe's was a big hit once again! Quinn and I met some friends there (in hopes of wearing the kiddos out!!). He had a great time and was "jump, jump, jump" -ing for days!!

Getting Down Right Dirty!!

I knew that title would capture your attention! The other day Cade and I were having a discussion. . . is it more fun to get dirty or clean. We both agreed that they both have their good points. . . so the other night, we were outside enjoying the gorgeous weather! Some neighbors joined us and there were kids all over the backyard (I love living on this street - it's a TRUE blessing). I turn my head, and this is what I see. . . "I decided to have fun getting dirty, so that I could have fun getting clean!"

Easter Morning

We had to wake the boys up so that they could dive into their Easter Baskets before Michael left to set up for church! They enjoyed the items in their baskets. . .actually I guess I should say buckets!! Then we did a small Easter Egg Hunt inside with the eggs that they had colored.

Here are some photos of the boys coloring Easter Eggs! They enjoyed themselves, but it was a challenge keeping Quinn's hands out of the dye!

What's Up?

Hogan and Grant were over the other day, and Hogan left his hat here. Cade and I were practicing piano, and when I turned around, Quinn came walking it with Hogan's hat on . . .what you don't see is that he has no pants on and is pilfering Michael's wallet!

I'm Really Scared

Cade: Daddy, I'm really scared!

Michael: What are you scared about, Cade?

Cade: Two things. First, I'm really scared that in 5 billion years, the sun will destroy the earth.

Michael: You don't need to worry about that Cade. We will all be long gone by then. We will all be in Heaven.

Cade: Well, the second thing is something that is REALLY bad.

Michael: What's that?

Cade: The scariest thing of all is. . . that when I'm a grown-up. I have to eat grown-up food.

For those of you who know Cade and his eating habits, you know that to him, this probably really is worse than the sun destroying the earth!

Poor Murphy

I am sure that when Murphy came to live with us, he never would have guessed that he would have been SO loved! Sometimes I think that the boys like him so much they might smother him. . . especially Quinn!
